Thank you for your comment. However, the message here, if there is one (and I feel there is), was not meant for that time period. God is beyond time and He knows better than anyone exactly how long it will take for the light (xrays in this case) to get here.
The message is for us here and now.

That nebula is 17,000 light years away. By the time we see it, it no longer exists.
