Leo XIV Had to Invite Himself to Spain

A few weeks ago, Pope Leo XIV called the pro-homosexual Cardinal Cobo of Madrid to inform him that he would like to visit Spain this year, ElWanderer.com reports today: “In other words, he invited himself, and no one knows exactly why.”
The official invitation must be issued by the head of state, the king, and by anti-Church Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The former will do as he is told, but the latter hesitated to sign the invitation. For this reason, the dates for the visit have not yet been set.
ElWanderer comments that the visit will take place amid the “reinterpretation” of the Valle de los Caídos, which was approved and signed by the notorious Cardinal Cobo himself, who thus bowed to the wishes of Sánchez's socialist government. However, it is a papal basilica, not a diocesan one.

The current government is Spain is as anti-Catholic as that of the Second Republic. "The bishop of Córdoba, Jesús Fernández, denounces that the authorities did not allow the priests who arrived at the [railway] accident site in Adamuz [that led to at least 41 deaths] to administer the last rites to the victims."
