The NTI (Nuclear Threat Initiative) NGO, whose objective is to prevent attacks linked to weapons of mass destruction such as biological weapons, organized a virtual simulation exercise in March 2021, with 19 participants via videoconference and a series of mock newscasts, to see the aftermath of a pandemic involving an unusual strain of the monkeypox virus in the fictional nation of "Brinia" (Britannia?).
