The Israeli government has confirmed $1.9 million in stipends for Hilltop Youth — the same group VPP witnessed encircling Taybeh, the last all-Christian town in the West Bank.
On June 10, they set Taybeh's fields on fire and threw Molotov cocktails at homes. On June 26, 2025, more than 100 settlers attacked the town, killing three. No one was charged.
This week, the Israeli government put them on the payroll.
The question of whether this violence is state-sponsored is no longer a question.
