Meditation
A creek in one of my favorite places in the world, the Alerces National Park in Futaleufú (Chubut) Argentina.
I was about 14 years old the last time I visited my home town. On a certain day during that vacation I was with a group climbing up a hill by the Rio Grande (also known by its native name Futaleufú). This is not the world famous Rio Grande marking the border between Mexico and the United States, its a different one. In fact, many rivers are called Rio Grande. Our forefathers did not have much of an imagination to name courses of water! Back to the story. The group was climbing up the hill to reach an observation point where one can see the beautiful cascading waters (the rapids). That was long ago (ca. 1967) Today there is a dam in that area that submerged the beautiful rapids. As I climbed with the group of about ten persons the big lemonade I had that afternoon began insisting to rejoin mother nature. That prosaic need to relieve myself kept me behind.
