Does the Koran come of God ?
No more than Muhammad comes from God, the Qur'an does not come from God. Since Saint John ends the Apocalypse by saying that "Whoever adds a word to this book, God will add to him all the words described in the Apocalypse, and that if someone removes a single word from that book, God will take away his part of the Tree of Life. (Apocalypse 22.19) So it's clear with these words that the Bible is over. We don't have to wait for another revelation. Besides the Bible, unlike this, what the Qur'an is for muslims is not in itself revelation, revelation is Jesus Christ. The Bible is only a witness to this revelation. And Saint Paul says : "The letter kills, it is the Spirit who gives life." (2 Corinthians 3.6) Why having a book if we don't know how to interpret it ? You saw this morning that only Allah knows the interpretation of the Qur'an. So the Qur'an is of no interest to us. In fact, it is a substitute for revelation. It comes as the so-called Word of God to replace the Christ. This is really an expression of the Antichrist. Jesus announced to us that after him would come false prophets, false messiahs,
and islam is one among many of others. (Mt 24.11 ; 24.24)
