Why do they follow Judas' way,
And not the path that Jesus laid?
I wonder, as the walls close in,
Where kindness ends, and hurt begins.
The stasi here, they play both sides,
On one hand, hurt; on the other, hides.
They invade my space, they mark my wall,
And still, they smile, pretending all.
They ask, "How are you?" with a grin,
While leaving wreckage deep within.
I choose the silence, hold it tight,
A prisoner in this endless fight.
Why, oh why, do they betray
The love and peace He showed that day?
They preach of tolerance, of grace,
Yet their actions speak a darker place.
They use His words, but not His heart,
Tearing me apart, tearing me apart.
I ask again, as pain does grow,
Why follow Judas, and not the glow?
The teachings pure, the love divine
Why turn away, when the light will shine?
I stand here silent, bruised and torn,
But in my heart, I’ll still be reborn.
