"The Church of Christ is being infiltrated. This is not a conspiracy theory, it is not an apocalyptic exaggeration: it is a visible and blatant fact".
So writes Aurora Buendía on InfoVaticana.com (29 January), adding that "the gay lobby has penetrated to the very foundations of Peter's boat".
Many of those who should be defending the doctrine have chosen to look the other way.
Buendía names "cardinals and bishops to priests, lay people and journalists", but curiously omits Francis: "Everyone seems to have succumbed to a narrative that flagrantly betrays the Church's teaching."
These people talk about 'inclusion', 'welcome' and 'diversity', but never about conversion.
A homosexual can become a saint, Buendía agrees, "but not by giving in to sin".
She writes that the Bible leaves no room for ambiguity: "Male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27), "Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28), "Do not be deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
"Today, quoting the Bible is nothing less than an act of terrorism in certain ecclesiastical circles," she comments, and "sin is dressed up as virtue".
Therefore, "it is not possible for a Church that claims to be Christ's to bless what God has defined as disorder. This is not charity, it is treason".
The bishops have become mere bureaucrats in mitres, afraid of the regime's press. Buendía defends 'Transformados' and 'Courage', which help homosexuals to get rid of their vice: "If someone chooses to follow the teachings of the Church and live in chastity, they have every right to seek support from communities that share their vision."
But the problem, she argues, is that the far-left regime wants to eradicate any dissent: "Either you think like them, or you are a modern heretic worthy of extermination."
