@Tom Morelli IMHO most of the traditional minded and conservative Catholics who hate Trump I've encountered locally is related to their antisemitism. They think b/c he is pro-Israel and has appointed many Jews in his administration he has defacto sided with the zionist cabal and is under their control. They hate Jews and Israel, side with Palestinian terrorists and hate Trump. Ironically, they considered Pope Benedict XVI to be a legitimate Pope. It was Benedict who stressed the Augustinian approach to Judaism that while praying for their conversion, stresses a relationship of an elder brother, and common roots. A relationship that rejects antisemitism and prescribes protection as they are in the final plan of God's salvation in the Apocalypse of St. John.
