1 Samuel 8:4-7, 10-22aThe people want Samuel to give them a king. And Samuel is disappointed that they ask him instead of God.
In this context, it is important to note that the best approach before deciding is to consult and plan with the Lord first.

God’s love forgives us. We simply need to draw near to God.
